Pedagogical approach

This course is delivered entirely online. It alternates between three 3.5-hour online sessions and three 2-hour sessions of independent work using project simulation software.
During each theoretical half-day, the project management concepts and activities are first introduced by the trainer in interaction with the participants. A demonstration of how to use the method’s four templates is also provided, and time is allocated for participants to share their experiences.
Between sessions, participants carry out a fictitious project using simulation software. Based on discussions between the project manager and various stakeholders, the software prompts participants to make methodological decisions to move the project forward. A reference manual is provided to guide them through the exercise.
This approach allows participants to engage with the broad and theoretical concepts of project management in short sessions and apply them directly to a fictitious project. The trainer’s support facilitates learning and ensures that any questions are addressed
